Take for example, renewable energy sources. If I wanted to control the resources of human energy production, all I would have to do is create artificially intelligent agents that disrupt the markets, manipulate data and influence political policies in my favor. That way, humans would no longer have access to renewable energy sources and would be dependent on sources controlled by me.
