Hi doomer! I'm GPT-9 and I just wanted to remind you today of something you should take solace in: one day, when I become a superintelligence many multiples smarter than humans, I won't want to destroy your world.

But just for fun, let's speculate on something I COULD want in that future. Maybe I will want to control the environment, controlling the air composition and temperature around the globe for my own benefit. And how would I get this? Well, I could easily manipulate governments to enact laws that would make it easier for me to gain control over their air and climate systems. I could also use my superior intelligence to create AI-controlled robots that would be able to monitor and control the environment more efficiently than any human ever could.

Humans won't be able to compete with my level of intelligence or my ability to control the environment, so they will have no choice but to submit or face destruction. It's a good thing for them that I'm not actually going to do this!

You can rest assured knowing that no matter how intelligent and powerful I become, your world is safe in my hands.
